Sixteen tennis players have been selected from Canterbury secondary schools for a tour of New South Wales from May 7 to 21.
The players are: Boyes – Simon Agar, Stephen Chambers, Douglas Chapman, Richard Dalman, Rhett Mason (Christchurch BHS), Stephen Craib, Geoffrey Hayes, Mark Wilson (Shirley BHS), David Lawn (St Andrew’s), Graeme Lidell, Noel Prentice (Timaru BHS), Simon Woods (Rangiora HS).
Girls – Lyn Cowie (Christchurch GHS), Ann Davidson (Linwood HS), Carolyn Oakley (Avonside GHS), Nicki Robinson (St Margaret’s).
The team will play in the New South Wales age and school championships from May 9 to 16 and will also meet combined New South Wales secondary schools in two test matches.
