The highly-rated British women’s quash team gave a strong display to beat New Zealand 3-0, in a test match at Queensland’s Gold Coast, on Saturday.

Two do the New Zealanders took a game from their British opponents, but the result of the test was never in doubt.

Sue Cogswell, beat Jenny Webster, 9-1, 9-3, 4-9, 9-6, Angela Smith beat Pam Buckingham 4-9, 9-2, 9-5, 9-2 and Joyce Laycock beat Annette Owen 9-7, 9-3, 9-3.
